We gave Karl Wednesday off to process Tuesday’s session. In our lesson we did groundwork for a full 45 minutes - the longest solely groundwork session we’ve had and Karl did so well. He was not pushy or mouthy. We started to focus on really lifting the right shoulder up, and staying forward but not fast. We started shoulder-in on a straight line and I’m realizing how little I need to do - lift the inside shoulder up and allow the sling muscles to lift and release. My body position staying to the inside with my feet slightly pointed toward his outside is enough to shape the bend.
