Groundwork again in our lesson was very productive. More work on the shoulder-in and Meg introduced the haunches-in! Also tried some halt work which stressed him out pretty quickly. He was quite nervous about the snow dripping sounds and the storm rolling in. I took the noseband off and it was very interesting as we rode he was shaking his mouth a lot and yawning/chewing like crazy. He nonetheless was moving very balanced and relaxed even with the distractions he was concerned about. I’m interested to see how he is without the noseband next ride.
