Enjoyed the first day of spring with my baby 🤎

Rode in the bareback pad and worked on shoulder-in, first on the ground then under saddle. By slightly rotating at the pelvis/pubic bone I can invite him to bend his body around me. I don’t need to hold or be rigid, but go with his motion to invite the bend and stepping under.

Played at liberty after, he went into a bit of autopilot going around the tract and I didn’t feel I had his full connection, but he kept his ear on me, stopped when I stopped and wanted to follow me around.
