Meg rode Karl after we did some groundwork. Haunches-in to the left is really developing. Intention and body position come first, staying in the track and drawing his inside hind to my inside hip. Just need to shape the bend to the left and it comes naturally. To the right, need to lift the inside shoulder before bend can be shaped so it’s still harder this way.
For riding, ride shoulder-fore to lift that inside shoulder and get that bend through the spine and stepping under with the inside hind. Really loose, soft, giving hands. Rode in Kimberwicke/cavesson combo- he did really well.
