I was in a very depressed state after being back from Florida and catching a glimpse of our future come June. I threw myself into working and watching lessons, cleaned the wash stall and spent time enjoying the 70° weather.

After four days off, I decided to take Karl into the outdoor and hop on for a ride. He had never been up there. I walked him around for a while before getting on. He was apprehensive and tried to pull out his blowing through the outside shoulder tricks, but I stayed cool and calm and rode. I was so proud of myself for staying relaxed, and I helped Karl find that relaxation because of it, I love my horse.
