Got to brush Commando after Meg rode, then I turned him out after putting ointment on his cuts (from biting other horses playfully and not knowing when to stop - so he gets the worst injuries but keeps egging them on). Haven’t done this yet, but grooming/tacking up is a pretty basic “working student” thing - this is not your typical working student position. I work and am a student, but that doesn’t define the experience. Karl was super. We lunged, which became very challenging once he got Lyme and these resistant behaviors developed. We are working through it and connecting so deeply.
